What an absolutely fantastic hotel! The rooms are small (it's London, after all), but contain everything you need. I had a window that actually opened (love that), working air conditioning, a TV, a kettle and all the fixings, a fantastic shower and a lift. You can't beat the location. Gloucester Road is a 2 minute walk and there are shops and restaurants right next to the tube station. The icing on the cake....they saved my large suitcase for me whilst I went on a group tour...for free! That made me so happy because normally I have to use the Luggage Storage at Victoria Station. What a pain and it's so expensive. I can now say that I'm done with that. I visit London twice a year and I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful hotel for my future trips.
Very nice place to stay as it is close to train station and bus stops. Excellent room conditions with very cozy bed. The breakfast was delicious and generous. The staff were very friendly and nice as well. Overall would certainly recommend.
This is a little gem of a hotel, lovely and clean , we had a breakfast and this was excellent. The staff were all really lovely and helpful. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone just 5 mins also from tube station
A great location, perfect for attending shows in nearby Royal Albert Hall, just around the corner from the V&A and near some excellent restaurants. My room was clean and provided all I needed and, for London, was very well priced. The staff were fabulous... they were helpful, courteous and efficient and seemed to genuinely care that your stay was a good one. The next time I need to stay in the area, it'll be here.
The location is close to the station and lots of cafes around. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are quite small though but still comfortable and clean. It’s a good value for the money you pay in this area. Special thanks to William for being so helpful with all my queries.
We have been during the last days of November for 10 days in The Villa Kensington. We are very satisfied on many points: perfect location to underground station of Gloucester Road on Picadilly line, a very quiet street and not far from a all kind shops, near to important museums and Hyde Park. We always wanted to stay in a typical London appartement white colored and with an entrance columns. The breakfast was continental type but correct. By the way our special thanks goes to the personal. They were always helpful and very kind to us. We shall give the address to all our friends and recommend as a best place to visit the city. We mention only one point negativ here that there was no place to put soap in bathroom. We had an idea to put it in a yoghurt cup.
The room was good. Nothing spectacular but entirely adequate. The staff is spectacular. Big shout out to 'Shark'. Information flowed from him freely and accurately. Really a big help. Location was great, Underground is about a block and a half with multiple lines. Would recommend and I'll definitely book next time I'm in London.
I was on the third floor and my room was unusually quiet and peaceful. Helpful and really friendly staff, my bed was comfy, also location was great. To be honest, the room could do with a bit of modernisation, especially fans/AC and windows. Would recommend.
